The Sila is Calabria’s own charming Sherwood Forest and one of the most beautiful national parks in Europe. With plenty of mountain nature trails and wildlife observatories that the environmental education centers of Cupone and Garcea manage, pleasant adventures are within everyone’s reach.Tourists with special needs (even people with motor and visual disabilities) will find this charming Park as the ‘preferred’ destination in C4Y’s Spring and Summer 2019 Tours. Indeed, at C4Y, we have found special attention on the part of the Park’s management to ensure maximum accessibility to all its visitors. ‘Differently young’ participants will also find all sorts of equipment and attention to detail so particularly useful in promoting fun as well as a totally safe and comfortable enjoyment of the areas
A day in pristine and uncontaminated nature and all around luscious green mountains rich in larch pines, poplars, beeches and maples dating several centuries. Gorgeous trees that we will also learn about in an hands-on lab at the Cupone’s botanical garden. This journey is ideal for people yearning for physical and emotional well-being in healthy places, unspoiled nature such as the Sila National Park can offer. Visitors who are tours’ participants are offered labs according to their specific requirements. All of this in addition to all the incredible quantity and variety of natural biodiversity that the local flora and fauna offers: 115 species of native black pine of Calabria, beech, fir, oak, chestnut, maple, lime, wolf, wild boar, fox, badger, otter, deer, roe deer, even the wild cat, squirrels, woodpeckers, buzzards, asters, sparrowhawks, peregrine falcons and royal kites right by the ancient farming, woodland and grazing culture that continues to be plentiful in these areas.

At the Garcea Center in Spezzano, tactile ground surface indicators systems and handrails are installed so that even participants who are visually impaired can experience independent trekking and venture along the paths. Indeed, everyone can experience the Silan mountains as a conquest while admiring the magnificent landscape of lakes and fauna so typical of this region. The areas on this tour have been thoughtfully intended to overcome physical barriers and the kind of reception that promotes integration and socialization of people with special needs as well as the elderly.

In Spezzano an old carriage style and steam locomotive train will bring participants to the most beautiful and suggestive areas of the park, where, nearby the winter ski resorts, in summer we will get off at the nature trails, where even the physically disabled participants can do their special “trekking” with friends and family along the path with the Joelette trekking wheelchair.

The last day of our journey, we will be leaving the woods and immerse ourselves in the interesting atmosphere of Cosenza. We will get to know this city’s history whose cultural heritage dates back to Ancient Greece and Roman times. It has preserves valuable monuments from the Middle Ages: the Cathedral, the Norman-Swabian Castle, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the Rendano Theater. During the journey back, we will stop in a local farm where we will once again have the chance to delight ourselves with local food and wine that include chili peppers and pork sausages such as ‘nduja and soppressata calabrese right along with different types of cheeses, vegetables in oil and dried tomatoes. Participants who so wish, may purchase some of these tasty and genuine foods to bring right along with all their aromas.

We inform the direct customer that the displayed rates are confirmed if the booking is made directly with the tour operator, Cosy for You – Tour for All. Otherwise the brokerage of a Travel Agency or any other intermediary institution will produce a 10% increase on price.
The fee includes:

The Fee does Not include:
Tips and gratuities, personal escort, additional services, taxes payable on site, tickets for non disabled tourists, travel medical /luggage or trip cancellation insurance, and anything not mentioned in “the price includes”.

Prices may vary during periods of Easter, Carnival, Whitsun, Bridges, Christmas, New Year and during special events such as fairs and so on.
Itineraries are subject to change, for operational reasons not depending on technical organization.
For tourists coming from other cities who want to join the Tour, one night in Naples is scheduled before the departure day (morning transfer to the meeting point) – Extra costs are to be determined.
The tourist can request different economic levels of tourist services.

The offer is proposed on a four-days length, but it is possible to change the duration of the trip by one or more days settled by the program. The reduction or augmentation of days involves price changes.
Moreover, by booking at least one month in advance on the departure, the customer can compose by himself the travel program, distributing the visits freely, bearing in mind that for the first and the last days are 2hs tours. With appropriate notice, you can customize your tour with further thematic according to your preferences (food and wine, entertainment and music, fitness, etc.). Costs are to be settled.
If you choose a pre-organized package, please note that all visits will be carried out anyway, even if with a different schedule from the program or some visits can be replaced with others, while always ensuring the full performance of the tours.
